Isolation due to COVID19 - and actually life generally! - can put relationships under enormous strain. Although The Marriage Course normally runs best in person, we are running it online for free, starting every Friday from 24 April. We will welcome guests (from anywhere!) on Zoom, then direct you to the films which will be interspersed with questions for (private) discussion breaks.
The Marriage Course Online is a series of seven sessions designed to help couples invest in their relationship and build a strong marriage or, in some cases, to restore what has been broken. All couples in a long-term, committed relationship are welcome, whether or not you are married or have faith.
How does it work?
The course runs exactly as it would be if you were attending in person, except that you will be able to do so from the comfort of your own home - where you can replicate your own date night:
- Each session lasts for 1 hour 55 minutes, half of which will be for your conversations.
- We will welcome you each Friday evening at 8pm on Zoom to begin the evening and then the films will be available from 8.15pm until 11.00pm.
- Don’t forget the candles, snacks, drinks, older kids in another room and the younger ones in bed. Try to make it feel as special as possible.
Topics covered include:
The Art of Communication
The Power of Forgiveness
The Impact of Family
Love in Action
When does it start?
A new Marriage Course Online will start every Friday evening from 24 April, and will run for 7 consecutive weeks.
What happens when we sign up?
Once you register, we will send you the zoom link for you to connect to the online course.
We will be running the course free of charge. The only cost you will incur is purchasing two course journals - you will need one each. Please allow a few days between registration and delivery!
