Job Title: Creative Lead
Reporting to: Worship Pastor
Job Purpose: Establishing visual identity and responsible for the creative output for St John’s Crawley and Love Your Neighbour Crawley
St John’s Crawley is a church in the heart of Crawley. We’re a part of the HTB network, with the big vision to evangelise to the nation, revitalise the church and transform society. For us here in Crawley our vision is to Love Jesus, Love Church, Love People and Love Crawley.
In September 2017 a small team from St Peter’s Brighton planted our 11:30 service into St John’s. Over the last 3 years we have grown to a community of over 400 worshippers. Crawley has been and will continue to be hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic and we are loving and serving the local community at this time, seeing God move in amazing ways.
You will join our church staff team as we seek to be audacious, united, generous, humble and tenacious. The role sits within the creative team, with a weekly split between St John’s Crawley and Love Your Neighbour Crawley, the churches local outreach charity. The creative team consists of the creative lead, line managed by the worship pastor, working with a team of volunteers and apprentices.
We are seeking a creative, visionary for this role, adding value to the team with a different voice. The ideal candidate will be confident enough to sell their creative ideas to others and perceptive enough to know when to encourage others to share theirs. They must be a strategic thinker, able to organise thoughts and develop plans to suit the expectations and vision of the wider team. We encourage applications from those of black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.
Areas of Responsibility
